Is this the next iPhone running the new iOS??????

In this video we see what we think is either a prototype or just a test.

If this is in fact the iPhone 5, it sure it looks a lot like the iPhone 4, which if you've been keeping up with the latest rumors, should not be a surprise. It's expected that a majority of the upgrades are happening on the inside of this flashy white phone. The same source has released a second video that shows off the phone's hardware, and lo and behold this thing's sporting a 64 GB hard drive.

Will there be a camara on the 7th-Gen iPod nano?

When Apple revamped the iPod nano line last September, the new model brought with it a more iOS-like interface. Although the sixth generation iPod nano is an impressive feat of engineering, its smaller form factor required quite a few compromises. The lack of a camera is one of the more notable features missing from the latest iPod nano model. That may be about to change, however, if the latest image coming out of Asia is any indication. But if there is one what will we do with it facetime? It will be so small if it comes yet it will be revolutionary.

iPhone 5 duel-core processors myth?

Digitimes is reporting on the possibility of the iPhone 5 touting a dual-core processor. Not much of a surprise, considering that the new Android devices will be sporting such chips, and I don't see Apple falling short for competition. This means better gaming and video experiences, as well as a nice speed increase. We should see this migrate over well to the iPad 2, so we can expect to see upgrades on both devices.
I think it would be awesome to see this happen. But then again the iPhone 5 is a pretty big myth it self. Do you think the iPhone 5 will have duel-core processors?

ThemeIt: A New Theme Store App Brings Competition to Cydia

It's easy to see that one of the most successful items sold in the Cydia store hands down is Winterboard Themes. With hundreds of designers and millions of users theming their iPhone, iPod and iPad, it creates quite a community of people. Since Cydia aquired Rock, every theme you purchase generally comes through Cydia, unless you perhaps donated to a designer.

With less than only a day left before it's launch, there are some variables that could shake up the "competition", indirectly bringing some headaches to our iPhone god, Saurik, the man behind Cydia. In fact, Saurik has already been in touch with the folks behind ThemeIt, and has politely asked that they hold back on releasing such a product, but ThemeIt is keeping it's plans to release. However, over the course of all of this, it sounds like ThemeIt has lost their original repository partner, and that word has been travelling from within the community encouraging themers to stay away from the project. No Comment.
I have heard tons of repo's have said no to this project.
I think this themeit thing is just bogus I dont think it will get half as far as cydia but who knows it could just take off. Off course I will download it and have a video on here as soon as its out.

iPad 2 Likely to Have 2048x1536 Screen Resolution

There's been a lot of talk about a "Retina" display for the next generation iPad due from Apple in the coming months, but it hasn't been completely clear what resolution the iPad's "Retina" display would be. Based on Apple's marketing efforts for the original "Retina" display, it would suggest a DPI (dots per inch) greater than 300 to exceed the abilities of the human eye.

A more practical approach would simply be doubling the resolution of the current iPad (1024x768) to 2048x1536 at a 260 DPI. While not quite a "Retina" display, it would follow with Apple's efforts to avoid fragmenting their product line. From a developer's perspective, the doubling of an existing resolution is much easier to support. Apple similarly doubled the iPhone's resolution from 480x320 to 960x640 when they introduced the iPhone 4. Like on the iPhone 4, older apps can will simply run pixel-doubled while native apps will take advantage of the full resolution of the new screens.

Based on some findings by @StroughtonSmith by way of @Xuzz on Twitter, it seems Apple is going to take this pixel-doubled approach again for the iPad 2. These icons were also previously found in August.

Version 1.1 of Apple's iBooks application seems to have accidentally included some artwork for this hypothetical pixel-doubled iPad. As shown above, the App's bookmark icon included versions for the iPad, the iPhone and the iPhone Retina Display (iPhonex2). It, however, also included one additional version labeled "iPadx2". Sure enough, this is exactly double the resolution version of the iPad icon and is distinct from the other versions. The most likely explanation for this added graphic is plans for a double-resolution iPad. Apple has since removed this extra artwork in subsequent versions of iBooks.

Based on this information, and persistent rumors of a higher resolution iPad 2, we believe the next iPad will have a 2048x1536 screen resolution. It would also explain why Apple would have to upgrade the GPU on the new devices to drive this higher resolution.

Verizon site shows white iPhone 4, wrong specs

Despite the fact that the white model was not mentioned during today’s press event, the white version of the iPhone 4 is shown on Verizon’s website. After clicking on the “More About iPhone 4” link found on the newest iPhone carrier’s iPhone splash page, a pop-over appears with a design similar to that of the iPhone section of Apple’s website. Within the Tech Specs section of the popover, the white iPhone 4 is shown as an option under “Capacity and Color,” while the “Cellular, wireless, and location” tab shows information for the GSM variant of the device, and the images found on the “Size and weight,” “External buttons and controls,” and “Connectors, I/O and sensors” pages depict the GSM model as well, with the older antenna design visible. Apple said in October that it was delaying the launch of the white iPhone 4 until Spring 2011 without providing details as to why the device remains unavailable.
